Analyst of Insights & Analytics

Job Summary

We are seeking an Analyst to join our growing Insights & Analytics team. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. As an Analyst, you’ll focus on analysing startup ecosystem dynamics and macroeconomic signals to generate insights that guide ESNA’s strategy. This role is ideal for someone with an economics background who is curious about how markets evolve, startups grow, and external forces shape business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with other team members, build reports and dashboards, and translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect, clean, and analyse data on startups, funding activity, and macroeconomic indicators.

· Track and interpret market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

· Build dashboards and reports that connect ecosystem data to Ecosystem performance and impact analysis.

· Support ESNA teams in delivering insights and recommendations.

· Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualification & Skills

· Bachelors in economics (or related quantitative field).

· Strong analytical and research skills with an eye for market dynamics.

· Proficiency in Excel, SQL/Python.

· Familiarity with visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

· Interest in startups, innovation ecosystems, and global economic trends.

· Clear communicator, eager to learn, and collaborative by nature.

·Languages:Proficiency in English (official language at ESNA)

· Prior experience with the startup ecosystem is a plus

· International working experience is a plus

Salary range:25k-30k EUR gross / year
