About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective technical assistance. You will troubleshoot issues, resolve inquiries, and ensure customers receive an exceptional support experience. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex cases to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Document support cases, solutions, and follow-ups in the ticketing system.
  • Guide customers through step-by-step solutions and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role, ideally within a call center or BPO/offshoring environment.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong plus.
