CALB (Europe) S.A is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer - BESS to join our team in Lisbon. The profile must have some experience in the PV or BESS industry.

RESPONSABILITIES

Customer's Contact

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key ESS clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
  • Collaborates with the CALB ́s technical Product Solutions department to have the proper solution to the ESS client.
  • Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve sales targets, fosters account growth and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Conducts regular business reviews with current or potential customers to assess their needs, addresses concerns and provides solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensures ongoing client satisfaction during the sales process and after sales, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities within ESS ́s customers.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving problems, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely solutions.

Strategic Planning

  • Analyses the market in a strategic way and designs plans to meet business objectives.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.

Proposal preparation and support internal product development process

  • Prepares proposals to meet customer requirements.
  • Negotiates contracts, renewals, and pricing discussions in collaboration with the product management team.
  • Collaborates with product development team to provide feedback and insights from costumers, contributing to the development of new products/services.

Reporting

  • Prepares and presents reports on sales performance, sales forecast and market insights to internal Empresa ́s stakeholders.

Business Development

  • Participates in industry events, conferences and networking activities to promote the Empresa and generate leads.

Cross-Communication

  • Communicates and collaborates with other teams as design, marketing, product management, and logistics to ensure the needs of the key customers are met.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience on a same related Cargo in BESS system, Utility-Scale or industrial Solar Panels
  • Degree in relevant Engineering field
  • Proficiency in English
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural, fast-paced environment.
