Technical Coordinator
About the Role
The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for leading and delivering e-commerce
projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of ecommerce
platforms, web technologies, and project management methodologies. The
successful candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical
teams, ensuring that e-commerce solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to
the highest quality standards, aligning with Client's luxury brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight & Coordination:
• Act as the primary liaison between business teams, Client's product teams,and vendor.
• Oversee the technical design, development, testing, and deployment phases ofe-commerce solutions.
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and align with architectural guidelines.
• Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes.
Quality Assurance & Performance:
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of ecommerce
functionalities.
• Monitor post-launch performance, identify areas for improvement, and
coordinate necessary optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and Client's security standards.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay abreast of emerging e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the e-commerce platform and
customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or
a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of experience specifically managing technical projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering e-commerce platforms or technical
initiatives.
• Experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud,
AEM6, Commerce tools and Alokai) is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a luxury retail or high-end consumer goods environment is a
significant advantage.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project
management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Knowledge of database concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps
principles.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on e-commerce conversion
• Understanding of Development lifecycle and the way of improvement.
Skills & Competencies:
• Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability
to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for
detail.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to
changing priorities.
• Customer Focus: A strong understanding of customer needs and a commitment to
delivering exceptional online experiences.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
environment.
• Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus).
