Role Description

Net Zero Insights is looking for a proactive and highly organizedOperations Executiveto join our team in Lisbon. Are you a natural multitasker with a friendly and communicative demeanor who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a "doer" mentality and a passion for continuous learning and growth? If so, this role is for you.

Youll report directly to the Head of Operations and be a key player in ensuring our company runs smoothly, with responsibilities spanning multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Execution:Help implement operational policies, manage budgets, and recommend improvements to boost company-wide efficiency.
• Office Operations:Keep our Lisbon office clean, organized, and well-stocked. Youll manage vendors, handle inventory, coordinate meetings and travel, and oversee office budgets and expenses. Youll also be the go-to person for all office-related needs, communicating policies and managing requests from the team.
• People Operations:Support our people processes by maintaining our people archive, coordinating communication between departments, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Youll also play a key role in building our company culture by planning engaging team events and celebrations.
• Legal & Grants Operations:Facilitate the legal paperwork for new hires, including contract signings and document collection. Youll also support the application process for grants and ensure compliance and reporting for funded projects.

Who You Are:

• You have a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• You have at least two years of proven experience in operations or a similar role, ideally in a startup or other fast-paced setting.
• Youre an excellent planner with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• You have great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Youre proficient in operational software and tools, with solid experience managing budgets and creating detailed reports using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, etc.).
• You are fluent in bothPortugueseandEnglish.
• Experience with project management tools like Asana is a plus.

Location & Work Details:

This is ahybrid rolebased inLisbon. You will be expected to work from our office at leastthree days a week. The standard working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

The ideal candidate will be hired as acontractorand be responsible for issuing invoices (viaRecibo Verde).
