Front Office Manager – 5★ Hotel | Lisbon

A leading 5-star hotel in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the department with excellence, operational rigor and a strong guest‑centric mindset. This is a key leadership role within a luxury environment, ideal for a professional who thrives in high‑standards operations and knows how to elevate service quality.
Role Mission
Lead the Front Office operation to deliver a seamless, warm and efficient guest journey, ensuring full alignment with 5★ service expectations and LQA standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise and develop the Front Office team (Reception, Guest Relations, Concierge).
• Ensure service excellence aligned with LQA standards, luxury procedures and brand expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping to guarantee room readiness, quality checks and smooth communication flows.
• Manage VIP arrivals, guest requests, complaints and complex situations with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
• Train, coach and motivate the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Monitor KPIs, implement operational improvements and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Support quality audits and contribute to the refinement of service procedures.
• Work cross‑departmentally to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Front Office Manager or Manager-level role in 5-star hotels.
• International experience outside Lisbon (mandatory).
• Proven exposure to or collaboration with Housekeeping operations.
• Strong knowledge of LQA standards, luxury service procedures and guest experience best practices.
• Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish (mandatory).
• Additional languages are a strong advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive and guest‑oriented approach.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining elegance, calm and precision.
