As we enter an exciting growth phase, we are looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven Architectural Lighting Manager to help establish our brand within the architectural and lighting design community.
The Role
The Architectural Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with architects, lighting designers, engineering consultants, MEP consultants, developers, and other key project stakeholders.
The main objective of this role is to achieve product specification in projects, build long-term partnerships, and Cargo our brand as a trusted architectural lighting partner.
This is a highly visible role that combines technical consulting, business development, and specification sales.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Develop and execute a specification strategy within the assigned territory.
- Build strong relationships with architects, lighting designers, engineering consultants, developers, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and project pipelines.
- Cargo the Empresa as a preferred architectural lighting partner.
Specification & Project Management
- Secure product specifications in architectural, hospitality, residential, retail, and public-space projects.
- Support project stakeholders from concept design through project completion.
- Track and manage project opportunities through all project stages.
- Collaborate with distributors and contractors to convert specifications into sales.
Technical & Design Support
- Present architectural lighting solutions and product innovations.
- Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and CPD sessions.
- Work closely with internal lighting designers and technical teams.
- Provide guidance on product selection and lighting applications.
Brand Development
- Represent the Empresa at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Promote brand awareness within the architecture and lighting design community.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in architectural lighting, specification sales, architecture, engineering, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Commercial mindset with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
Preferred
- Existing network within architecture, lighting design, engineering, or developer communities.
- Experience in architectural lighting specification.
- Background in Architecture, Lighting Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Knowledge of lighting technologies, controls, and applications.
