PL/SQL or SQL Developer & Analyst

Localização: Lisbon

Work Model: 2 days onsite; 3 days remote from Portugal

Sector: Financial Services

️ Languages: English (B2–C1)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

You'll join a specialized squad working on a key core banking domain, collaborating between Lisbon and Geneva. Yes, that means international teamwork. Yes, that means smart people. Yes, that means coffee-fueled problem-solving across time zones.

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as PL/SQL or SQL Developer & Analyst
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and documentation
• Hands-on experience with SQL or PL/SQL for data analysis and validation preferably
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Experience working with data-driven applications or database-heavy environments
• Experience with unit & integration testing (manual or automated).

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams
• Perform data analysis using SQL/PL-SQL to support business decisions and validate system behavior
• Support the design and improvement of business processes and system workflows
• Work closely with development teams during design, implementation, and testing phases
• Contribute to functional testing and validation of deliverables
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical constraints
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business departments
