We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plant HSE Responsible to join our team and help drive a strong Health, Safety & Environmental culture within our production plant.

YOUR MAIN MISSION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ensure compliance with Portuguese HSE legislation and Empresa standards
Support and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 management systems
Promote a proactive "Safety Primeira" culture across all operations
Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and safety observations
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (5 Why / Fishbone)
Coordinate HSE training, inductions and Toolbox Talks
Support emergency preparedness and crisis management activities
Ensure environmental compliance, waste management and APA/e-GAR requirements
Manage HSE performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives
Support occupational health surveillance and employee wellbeing
Ensure safe management of subcontractors and external partners

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE or related field
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role
CAP certification recognized in Portugal (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of Portuguese HSE legislation
Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is highly valued
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Proactive mindset, strong communication skills and solution-oriented attitude
