Mirabilis Hospitality is looking for an Operations Supervisor to support and oversee daily operations across two key hospitality assets: our flagship building LX LIVING in Amoreiras and our brand-new São Julião hotel in Carcavelos.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hospitality operations experience who enjoys being hands-on, guest-focused, highly organised and comfortable working across more than one property. The role will be split between both Localizaçãos, with approximately half of the week spent at LX LIVING and the other half at the São Julião hotel.The ideal candidate will be used to the pace of hospitality operations, including shift work, weekends and changing operational priorities. This is a role for someone who can lead from the floor, support teams, solve problems quickly and help ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience across both properties.
About the RoleAs Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of both properties, supporting operational execution, guest experience, quality control, team coordination and supplier management.You will work closely with the management team to ensure both buildings are running smoothly, standards are being followed, guest issues are handled efficiently and teams are aligned on daily priorities.
Daily OperationsOversee the day-to-day operation of both LX LIVING and the Hotel São JuliãoEnsure apartments, rooms, common areas and guest-facing spaces are clean, functional, well-presented and guest-ready.Carry out regular property walks, room checks, apartment inspections and quality control reviews.Monitor maintenance issues, housekeeping standards, building presentation and guest comfort.Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, front office, suppliers and external partners.Support stock control, amenities, linen, keys, access systems and operational supplies.Ensure daily tasks, handovers and operational checklists are completed accurately and on time.Help maintain SOPs, service standards and operational procedures across both properties.
Guest ExperienceSupport guest arrivals, departures, requests, complaints and issue resolution.Ensure guests receive a warm, professional and efficient service at all times.Act as a point of escalation for operational and guest-related matters when required.Proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest journey and service delivery.Support guest communication before, during and after stays when needed.Maintain a strong service culture across both properties.
Team & Shift CoordinationHelp supervise operational teams during shifts such as housekeeping and maintenance coordination.Ensure smooth communication between departments.Ensure operational handovers are clear, complete and action-oriented.Lead by example with a hands-on, flexible and solutions-focused approach.
What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in hospitality operations, hotels, serviced apartments, aparthotels, boutique hotels, short-term rentals, guest relations, front office, housekeeping coordination or similar.Comfortable working across two different properties during the same week.Used to hospitality shift work, including weekends and flexible schedules.Strong operational mindset and attention to detail.Hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems quickly and calmly.Confident supervising suppliers and daily operational priorities.Guest-focused, proactive, organised and reliable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the wider management team.Good level of Portuguese and English. Additional languages are a plus.Comfortable using hospitality systems, operational tools, guest messaging platforms or PMS systems.
