Job Description The Opportunity

As General Manager of one of our hotels, you will champion this vision by leading a multinational team, driving operational excellence, and fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced hotel leader to run our flagship hotel property in Alcácer do Sal, Alentejo, Portugal. You’ll lead all operations, deliver excellent guest experiences, and work with our international team.

Key Responsibilities

• Hotel Operations:
  • Manage all departments (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, etc.)
  • Maintain high service standards for our luxury brand
  • Train and lead a diverse team from different cultures
• Guest Experience:
  • Ensure all guests receive top‑quality service
  • Handle special requests from international guests and investors
  • Maintain excellent online reviews and ratings
• Business Management:
  • Meet financial targets and control costs
  • Work with sales teams to attract guests

Requirements

• 10+ years hotel experience (5+ years as GM in 4/5‑star hotels)

Experience With Luxury Brands Preferred

• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills

Core Competencies

• Ability to set a clear vision, develop long‑term strategies, and make data‑driven decisions that drive revenue growth, profitability, and brand Cargoing in a competitive market
• Strong command of all hotel operations—including front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guest services—ensuring seamless day‑to‑day performance and adherence to 4‑star quality standards.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences by fostering a customer‑Primeira culture, addressing feedback proactively, and maintaining consistently high service scores.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain diverse teams, fostering a positive work environment, developing future leaders, and aligning staff performance with organizational goals.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization, with a strong understanding of sales, marketing, and distribution strategies to maximize profitability.
