Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cantanhede for a Food Safety Manager. CarboCode is currently looking for a Food Safety Manager to manage HACCP and all food safety related programs and certifications and promote CaboCode's Quality and Food safety policies and culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of HACCP monitoring and review 
• Coordination of Food safety related validations (e.g. cleaning, CCP) 
• Management of Food safety related Monitoring Programs (e.g. Environmental Monitoring) 
• Management of food safety related information/data 
• Review of food safety critical data during manufacturing 
• Elaboration of procedures/ records related to compliance with GMP/ HACCP/ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 
• Training in Food safety and other quality topics 
• Coordination of Cleaning team (facilities) 
• Approval and evaluation of raw materials and service Suppliers 
• Follow up of external and internal quality audits/CAPA 

Role Requirements:

• Degree in food engineering, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or other science-related fields.
• Experience in Food safety management (food industry)
• English writing and verbal communication skills are essential.
