Empresa DESCRIPTION

Exogenus Therapeutics is a biotechnology Empresa dedicated to advancing innovative healthcare solutions

based on extracellular vesicles (EV). Our lead asset, EXO-101, is expected to enter clinical trials in early 2028,

for knee osteoarthritis.

Our team is passionate about transforming the healthcare sector and committed to accelerating access to EV-based technologies. We are looking for an experienced Project and Research Funding Manager, tointegrate our Innovation Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate ongoing research projects, including one multi-partner international consortium, tracking work packages and ensuring deliverables are submitted on time.
• Monitor administrative, scientific and financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with funding agencies, including Horizon Europe rules and regulations.
• Lead the development and continuous update of Data Management Plans.
• Organise meetings as planned (progress meeting or Steering Commitees).
• Ensure that research outputs follow FAIR principles.
• Monitor partner spending and lead or assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Manage project's websites and social media, posting updates when needed.
• Identifying and preparing new grant applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience with project management, including Horizon Europe (mandatory).
• Scientific background (MSc/PhD) in life sciences.
• Experience in identifying and writing grant applications.
• Excellent proficiency in English. Ideally, knowledge of Portuguese.
• Ideally, prior experience with financial reporting.
