Project Details

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to take a leading role in designing, securing, and optimizing modern infrastructure environments. Beyond the technical responsibilities, this Cargo requires a strong mentoring mindset — supporting, guiding, and coaching less experienced team members as they grow their expertise in DevOps and security practices.

What We’re Looking For

✅ 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SecOps or DevSecOps roles

✅ Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation and secure deployment practices

✅ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)

✅ Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

✅ Strong background in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

✅ Solid knowledge of security frameworks, secure coding practices and threat modeling

✅ Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response

✅ Ability to coach, mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices

✅ Familiarity with Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban)

✅ A proactive, supportive and collaborative attitude

✅ English proficiency: B2 or higher

Role Responsibilities

Lead DevSecOps initiatives across the development lifecycle

Implement and enforce security best practices within CI/CD pipelines

Support engineering teams in adopting secure-by-default methodologies

Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior DevOps/DevSecOps members

Conduct code reviews, threat assessments and security audits

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable and efficient systems

Help define standards, documentation and reusable templates

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
