About this opportunity

You will be part of the Governance function within Nordea Asset Management, responsible for leading and coordinating AI-related initiatives across Governance and with key stakeholders across the organisation.

You will act as a central enabler, ensuring that AI initiatives are progressed, aligned, and embedded into governance processes in line with regulatory requirements and Nordea standards.

This is an important role combining project leadership, stakeholder management, and operational execution. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape how AI is operationalised within Governance, at the intersection of regulation, risk management and innovation.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the execution of AI initiatives within Governance, ensuring delivery from concept to implementation
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Governance units and the wider NAM organisation
• Translate regulatory requirements (e.g. EU AI Act) and internal policies into actionable initiatives and guidance
• Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, processes and controls
• Track progress, dependencies and risks to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Act as a point of coordination for AI-related activities, ensuring clear ownership and accountability
• Prepare and support reporting to Governance leadership and governance forums
• Contribute to building awareness, adoption and cultural change related to AI within Governance – a good understanding of Empresa structures, investment vehicles (e.g. UCITS/AIFs), and the asset management environment is considered an advantage
• Fluency in English is mandatory

Your experience and background

• History of effectively guiding cross-functional projects or transformation initiatives
• Experience from governance, risk, regulatory or technology environments
• Exposure to AI, data or digital transformation initiatives with a high degree of curiosity for the topic and a pragmatic approach
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable plans
• Structured, results-oriented and comfortable working in an environment with evolving requirements
