Languages:

  • English fluent (C1 or higher)
  • Spanish is a plus

Experience:

  • Strong experience in international purchasing & logistics in Início & Living / Furniture & Início Decor / Consumer Goods (physical products), including large or heavy item shipping.
  • This role requires hands-on purchasing experience with physical consumer goods — a background limited to industrial or energy logistics won't be a fit.
  • E-commerce or DTC brand experience required.

Salary:

  • 30,000–35,000 euros per year
  • Performance-based annual bonus up to 15%

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and internationally minded professional who wants to grow with a small but fast-scaling Empresa. This is a hands-on role in a startup environment, ideal for someone who enjoys building, improving and scaling processes, taking ownership and having direct impact on business performance. You will report directly to the COO and play a key role in structuring and optimizing purchasing and logistics operations as the Empresa grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize international purchasing and logistics (import/export)
  • Follow up purchase orders from suppliers to final customer delivery
  • Work with international suppliers, with direct experience in Asia (China preferred)
  • Improve costs, lead times and logistics efficiency
  • Coordinate shipments and warehouse inbound operations
  • Handle logistics incidents and implement preventive processes
  • Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards (costs, lead times, margins, incidents)
  • Collaborate closely with customer service and sales
  • Manage one purchasing/logistics assistant

Who we're looking for

  • At least 6 years of experience in international purchasing & logistics
  • At least 3 years specifically in purchasing for Início & Living / Furniture & Início Decor / Consumer Goods (physical products), including large or heavy item shipping
  • Direct experience sourcing or managing suppliers in Asia (China preferred)
  • Strong understanding of import/export and international transport, including large or heavy goods
  • Data-driven mindset — advanced Excel/spreadsheets and dashboards; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Hands-on, proactive and execution-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a startup / scale-up environment
  • Ambitious profile looking to grow professionally as the Empresa scales

Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
