We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Investment Manager/Investment Principal to join our team in Portugal. The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record in venture capital or as a founder, with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and a passion for high-tech innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in high-potential startups across various sectors.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their growth objectives.
• Leverage and expand our network of industry experts, entrepreneurs, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and support portfolio companies.
• Represent Critical Ventures at industry events, conferences, and in the media, sharing insights and contributing to the broader venture capital community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in venture capital or as a tech founder, with a strong track record of successful investments or entrepreneurial ventures.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A genuine passion for innovation, startups, and making a positive impact.
• Advanced degree in business, finance, computer science or a related field is preferred.
