Caretag develops a digital platform used by hospitals to manage surgical instruments safely and efficiently. The platform supports complex workflows and connects multiple systems into one coherent solution used in daily practice. 

We are looking for a User Experience Designer with strong product thinking and hands on execution skills to help evolve and refine the user experience as the platform continues to grow. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and selected customers to translate complex requirements into thoughtful, scalable user experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys structured design systems, creative problem solving, and contributing actively to product decisions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Design System & Figma Ownership 

• Maintain and continuously extend a comprehensive Figma workspace for a large-scale product. 
• Build and manage reusable components, libraries, and structured design documentation. 
• Ensure consistency and scalability across multiple features and modules. 

User Experience & Product Thinking 

• Design end-to-end user flows with clarity and precision. 
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and context. 
• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to uncover insights and validate assumptions. 
• Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive UX solutions. 

Prototyping & Iteration 

• Create interactive prototypes to validate concepts early. 
• Run rapid iterations based on stakeholder and customer feedback. 
• Develop quick demos and mockups for customer discussions and workshops. 
• Move from low-fidelity exploration to high-fidelity execution efficiently. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with developers to define components, behaviors, and flows. 
• Provide clear specifications and interaction details to support implementation. 
• Facilitate alignment between product vision, technical constraints, and user expectations. 

Customer Engagement 

• Collaborate directly with customers to co-create solutions. 
• Build fast, iterative prototypes during discovery sessions. 
• Continuously refine solutions to move closer to validated customer needs. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Strong UX and product design experience in complex, multi-feature applications. 
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (component systems, variants, auto-layout, design systems). 
• Exceptional attention to detail in layout, interactions, and micro-flows. 
• Deep understanding of user-centered design and Design Thinking principles. 
• Experience creating interactive prototypes for validation and demos. 
• Ability to think strategically while executing tactically. 
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Relevant Additional Experience   

• Experience working in B2B or enterprise environments. 
• Familiarity with front-end constraints (React, component-based systems). 
• Experience conducting user interviews or usability testing.
