What will be your role

In this role, you will join a technical team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions, and your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure applications using .NET technologies
• Implementing microservices and integrating event-driven architectures using message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Writing clean, efficient, and testable code, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards
• Participating in the design and planning of new features in collaboration with the team
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across the application stack
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development workflows and processes
• Collaborating within an Agile team environment and actively participating in daily meetings, sprint planning, and reviews
• Continuously learning and applying new technologies to enhance software solutions

What should you bring to the team

• + 5 years of proven work experience as a .NET Developer
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Management, Mathematics, or similar
• Proven experience in microservices architecture (mandatory)
• Proven experience in event-driven architectures (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with message brokers (mandatory) (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Previous experience with Cloud Development (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of databases such as SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Oracle, or others is a plus
• High sense of responsibility and rigor in task execution
• Experience in Agile environments
• A focus on results (rather than just tasks)
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Availability to work up to 3 days a week at the client’s offices in Lisbon
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, influence, and foster change collaboratively
• A strong commitment to team collaboration and success
