Sales Executive/Groups Coordinator
Pestana Hotel Group - Courmayeur, Itália/Lisbon, Portugal
We are looking for a proactive, commercially driven, and results-oriented Sales Executive/Groups Coordinator to support the growth of our hotel business in Itália, with a strong focus on the MICE and Groups segment.
This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional with a strong sales mindset, experience in handling group and event enquiries, and the ability to convert opportunities into confirmed business. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the effective management of MICE and group accounts from enquiry to contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to MICE and group RFPs and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle, negotiate, convert, and contract MICE and group business effectively, maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Proactively identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in line with the hotel's budget and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies and partners within the MICE and Groups segment.
- Ensure all client, account, and activity data in Opera is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from sales conversion to operational delivery.
- Support the hotel's commercial strategy by optimizing conversion and contributing to overall sales performance in the Groups and Meetings segment.
Candidate Profile:
- Proactive and autonomous, with a positive and solution-driven attitude.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a strong "can do" mindset.
- Commercially driven, with a strong focus on maximizing conversion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in Meetings & Events or Group sales is an advantage.
- Experience using Opera and platforms such as Cvent is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Can be based locally in Courmayeur, Itália, or in Lisbon, Portugal with the Central Team.
