Senior QA Automation Engineer (Robot Framework / GCP)

Localização: Remote / Hybrid (Europe-based preferred)

Experience: 5+ years

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will play a key role in test automation, functional validation, and continuous quality improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams across web, API, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional & Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework and Playwright
• Execute manual test cases for complex business scenarios when required
• Perform end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, backend systems, and data flows
• Develop and execute API test automation using Postman and RESTAssured

2. QA Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure quality standards are met
• Contribute to story-level testing within Agile sprints
• Support test planning, execution, and reporting activities
• Maintain clear and structured documentation (e.g., Confluence)

3. Test Management & Reporting

• Execute test cases and report defects in a structured manner using JIRA/Xray
• Participate in test cycle management, including test plans and reporting
• Ensure traceability and quality across all testing phases

4. Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to improving QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing strategies
• Explore and adopt AI-driven testing approaches and modern QA tools where relevant

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Hands-on experience in test automation using Robot Framework and Selenium
• Experience in Telecom or B2B environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and story-level testing
• Experience with cloud-based testing in GCP
• Solid knowledge of SQL / MySQL
• Programming/scripting skills in Python and/or JavaScript
• Experience in API testing and automation (Postman, RESTAssured)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Docker / Docker Compose
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Xray)
• ISTQB certification (or equivalent)

Nice to Have

• Migration testing experience
• Exposure to AI-driven automation testing
• Basic hands-on experience in non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility)
• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus for monitoring and dashboards
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
