Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.

The Project manager will be responsible for acting as the Director of Sports’ strategic partner and operational right-hand, supporting the department’s strategy, leading key sports-related projects from concept to execution, developing business opportunities, and championing budget management. The role requires strategic thinking, structured project management, strong stakeholder engagement, and commercial awareness to ensure successful delivery across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Sports to shape and execute assets strategy, contributing to planning processes, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, applying effective project management methodologies to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Analyse and evaluate business plans for various projects, assessing feasibility, financial viability, and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (finance, legal, sponsorship, events) to support informed decision-making and smooth project execution.
• Build and manage partnerships with event right holders, sponsors, and stakeholders involved in sports projects and events.
• Attend and represent the organization at sports conferences, fairs, and events to foster relationships, promote initiatives, and identify new business opportunities.
• Champion department budget management — overseeing budget planning

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (postgraduate degree in Sports Management is a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management; experience in sports-related projects and/or international environments is a plus
• Proven track record of leading multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in strategy development and budget management
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Localização:

• Lisbon (regular travel to the Algarve is expected)
