Grand Circle Corporation is looking for Trip Experience Leaders to lead tours on its Land and Cruise programs for Overseas Adventure Travel in 2027.

IMPORTANT: Candidates must have availability for:

  • Participating in a presential hiring session on Aug 25 & 26, 2026 (in approximately one month);
  • Accepting dates for the high season 2027 (Apr – Jun and Sep – Nov)

What we require

  • Trip Experience Leaders with a passion for people, our countries, culture, and traditions.
  • You are a Portuguese or Spanish National/Local/Resident, who can converse in Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, and confident to present topics in front of groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of history and culture of Portugal and Espanha.
  • Well-traveled with guiding/tourism experience.
  • The ability to think for yourself, as well as inspire others.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take feedback and adjust accordingly.
  • Registered as an Independent contractor.

Working Responsibilities:

  • Contacting travelers prior to travel via pre-trip email/calls.
  • Escorting and Leading groups through Portugal and Espanha.
  • Compiling and delivering information on Portuguese and Spanish cities and towns visited on tour.
  • Describing points of interest during coach commentaries, providing info-talks on daily life and local issues.
  • Offering and creating Learning and Discovery activities throughout the tour.
  • Be willing to go off the beaten track, adapt, and show our travelers all aspects of daily life in the region.
  • Confirming arrangements for the necessary transport and activities and working with local guides/vendors.
  • Support the ships Expedition team by creating and presenting onboard activities and entertainment.
  • Arranging for medical personnel for the guests, in case of emergency, and helping them with all further issues.
