THE OPPORTUNITY

Most Golf Director roles ask you to manage. This one asks you to lead. The team here is committed and capable, what they need is someone who can shape a shared vision, build genuine confidence, and create a guest experience culture that runs on its own momentum.

You will take ownership of the full golf operation across multiple championship venues, leading a team of 25 to 30 people and working closely with senior resort leadership. The goal is simple to describe and demanding to deliver, make the experience as outstanding as the courses.

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

• A guest experience that feels personal at every turn, from the Primeira point of contact to the moment someone decides to come back, with a dedicated Golf Experience Manager to own and elevate it
• A team that performs under pressure because they have practised for it, confident, consistent, and ready at every moment that matters, not just the quiet ones
• A direct relationship with your guests that reduces dependency on third-party channels and turns a single outstanding visit into a long-term connection with the resort
• A tee sheet that works for everyone, commercially productive, intelligently managed, and built around a member experience that is never an afterthought
• A culture of honest accountability where the whole team understands how their daily contribution connects to something bigger and takes genuine pride in it

THE PERSON

You have built something before, not necessarily at this scale, but with this mindset. You close the gap between instruction and confidence through repetition. You find it more natural to coach than to direct. And you measure your own success by the growth of the people around you.

• Operational leadership experience across multiple golf venues, or as the head of a single-site operation with a substantial team behind you
• A track record of building service culture, not just managing service delivery
• Commercial instinct, an understanding of how daily team behaviour connects to revenue outcomes, guest retention, and long-term reputation
• A genuine coaching mindset and the patience that comes with it
