As we expand our crypto operations, we're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Crypto Customer Support / KYC Analyst to join our growing compliance and client experience team.

About the Role

You'll be at the intersection of customer experience and regulatory compliance — ensuring our clients are verified, supported, and protected while keeping our operations clean and audit-ready. You'll work closely with our Compliance and Operations teams to deliver top-tier service in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC/AML due diligence reviews for onboarding individual and corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Review and verify identity documents, source of funds, and supporting materials within defined SLAs
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
• Screen clients against global sanctions lists, adverse media, and watchlists using tools such as World-Check or equivalent
• Handle inbound customer inquiries via chat, email, and ticketing systems — resolving account issues, verification questions, and escalations professionally
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity patterns to the Compliance team
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing process improvement
• Stay up to date with AML/CFT regulations applicable to crypto asset service providers (CASPs)

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML compliance, or crypto customer support
• Solid understanding of KYC/AML principles and FATF guidelines
• Familiarity with crypto products: wallets, exchanges, stablecoins, DeFi basics
• Experience with compliance tools (World-Check, Jumio, Onfido, Sumsub, or similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• EU work authorization / based in Portugal

Nice to Have

• CAMS certification or equivalent
• Experience with VASP/CASP regulatory frameworks (MiCA awareness is a plus)
• Prior experience at a crypto exchange, neobank, or fintech Empresa
