Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading mining equipment and services organisation, is recruiting experienced Field Service Technicians to join its technical team in Portugal.

This is a full-time opportunity for experienced mining technicians with strong hands-on exposure to heavy mining equipment and a genuine understanding of underground mining environments. The successful candidates will provide technical service and maintenance support across mining equipment, working directly with customers to maximise equipment availability, reliability and performance

leThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy mining equipment in field and customer environment

s.The role requires a highly practical technician who can diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults, carry out repairs safely and efficiently, and provide high-quality technical support across mining equipmen

t.
Experience with Sandvik and/or Komatsu equipment is highly desirable, with previous exposure to underground mining equipment and operations essenti

• ent.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment fau
• lts.Perform planned, preventive and corrective maintenance activit
• ies.Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repair soluti
• ons.Conduct equipment inspections and condition assessme
• nts.Complete equipment servicing, component replacement and repair activities in accordance with technical specificati
• ons.Support equipment commissioning, testing and return-to-service activities where requi
• red.Provide technical support to customers and operational te
• ams.Maintain accurate service reports, technical records and maintenance documentat
• ion.Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable HSE requirements and technical procedu

• tial.Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, Mining Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or similar
• role.Mining experience is essen
• tial.Previous experience working with Sandvik and/or Komatsu mining equipment is highly desir
• able.Previous exposure to underground mining operations is essen
• tial.Strong hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile mining equip
• ment.Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting capabi
• lity.Ability to read and interpret technical, hydraulic and electrical diag
• rams.Experience carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equip
• ment.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving sk
• ills.Ability to work independently in field-based environments while maintaining strong customer relations
