About the Role

We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager for our Pan-Asian restaurant fine dining, ATTIKO in Lisboa.

Responsibilities

  • The Restaurant General Manager is mainly responsible for leading the development and execution of Attiko brand’s long-term strategy.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing brand’s long and short-term plans.
  • Accountable for Attiko’s management performance and assurance of meeting goals.
  • Maintain and provide strength to Empresa’s brand Cargo in the region.
  • Partners with the corporate Managers in achieving business results.
  • Prepare and oversee budget and financial plans for Attiko.
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term brand operational plans.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Approve marketing plan in cooperation with Marketing Manager to promote operations business and ensure implementation.
  • Builds, develops and manages an operations team capable of carrying out needed operations and unit growth strategies in addition to improving employee and guest relations.
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution and improved working relationships.
  • Assist Managers in overcoming obstacles to effective operations ensuring outlet operates at high quality level with an emphasis on service excellence while adhering to health and safety.
  • Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department on any supply / vendor issues affecting lounge’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or similar.
  • International experience in restaurants fine dining (Asian cuisine is a plus).
  • Experience in nightlife venues.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience managing high end venues.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and good communications skills in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basics.
  • Ability to maintain high quality control standard.
  • Highly cooperative team spirit.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead by example in a multicultural environment.
  • Problem-solving skills.
