Your main mission will be to ensure proper delivery services offer according to local customers expectations and in line with Nespresso international standards and guidelines. You will be also responsible to drive innovative and sustainable Operations solutions, in order to deliver distinct competitive advantage for Nespresso and the Customer as to manage B2B and B2C third party transportation providers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOGISTICS DELIVERY SPECIALIST

Develop operational excellence in Transportation and Distribution Management

• Define strategy with Physical Logistics Coordinator for optimum distribution network within Market/Region
• Ensure high service level for deliveries to customers (B2B and B2C)
• Implement performant and innovative delivery services
• Support procurement in RFQ with potential distribution suppliers
• Manage relationship with delivery providers as single point of contact
• Implement continuous improvement program with suppliers
• Manage seasonality and potential capacity issues
• Ensure appropriate return goods and refusal process
• Optimize and follow up capsules recycling process align with Q&SHE
• Define and monitor key performance indicators
• Drive development and implementation of good practices
• Develop cross-functional alignment with Marketing and commercial teams
• Track and analyze Supply Chain Complaints and create action plans

Ensure Compliance

• Liaise with Technical & Quality Department to ensure all aspects of our distribution operations are compliant with Food Safety, Environment, Quality & Safety related policies;
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé Corporate Business Principles and Supply Chain & Procurement Policies;
• Ensure compliance with the Nestlé Policy on conditions of work & employment and all HR policies

Manage budget

• Ensure management of budget for Delivery services;
• Propose cost saving project to department based on spend & market analysis ensuring adequate level of service;
• Give transparency on the cost of delivery services
• Manage, report and comment regularly (weekly/monthly) the business KPI’s on delivery, logistics activities, action plans and cost. Report relevant KPI to the Nespresso Organization

• Establish appropriate organization, including 3rd party suppliers, in line with the operational plan (OP) and international guidelines; Create alignment, lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way. (Sustain the change)

• Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.
• Create and align good practices by NCE methodology with stakeholders (CRC; B2B; B2C and 3PL)

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

• University degree in Supply Chain/Logistics (preferable)
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in logistics and distribution operations and Direct-to-Consumer business model (logistics, distribution)
• Experience in working /being exposed to collaborative business development projects in logistics and distribution as led projects and initiatives
• Previous contact in the usage of systems for logistics and distribution processes and decision support
• Has successfully managed relationship with external providers for warehousing, equipment and/or transport
• Proficiency in English (preferable)
• Skilled at MS Office (particularly Excel) and SAP
• Strong team player and planning skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong flexibility and resilience
• Passion for working with customers both internally and externally
