The role is based in Ovar, Portugal.
Greeting from your future manager! “Finance department is where turn numbers into valuable information for decision making. We oversee all financial data, ensuring it’s accuracy, and we prepare reports for the different internal departments, as well as official external entities. In finance you will have a global view of our different businesses in Portugal, as well as the global filtration business of Valmet. From order to cash, purchase to pay, and record to reporting, you will have a chance to apply all the finance concepts you have been studying, on daily basis.   • Receive and organize supplier invoices.
  • Propose the accounting and post the invoices.
  • Post supplier and customer payments.
  • Reconcile supplier, customer and bank accounts.
  • Support asset management and depreciation calculations.
  • Support the team in improving current processes.
Who you are
  • You have recently graduated in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • You like to work with numbers, and you have analytical and detailed oriented mindset.
  • You have good collaboration and communication skills.
  • You are flexible, take initiative and have positive attitude towards changing environment with a can-do attitude.
  • You are fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Experience using SAP, Excel or other analytical tools is considered an asset.
