Data & AI Solutions Intern (m/f/d)

As a Data & AI Solutions Intern in our Tech Hub in Portugal, you will have the chance to take your first steps towards a career in the field of AI. You will be working on projects which are at the forefront of innovation at our company and are aiming at establishing artificial intelligence as a key support tool throughout our value chain – from content processing to monetization. In this role you will be a full-time member of a Scrum team tasked with the development of data-driven applications, from model development to model serving in the final product.

• As Data & AI Solutions Intern (m/f/d) you will learn the fundamentals required for a successful career as Machine Learning Engineer or AI Solutions Software Engineer
• You will be joining one of our project teams focused on building machine learning products to solve real business challenges
• You will develop productive machine learning applications on a petabyte sized data lake using practices such as Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, ETL Pipelines and Model Development and Deployment on our state-of-the-art AI/ML Cloud-Platform
• You will improve your software engineering skills by taking over tasks contributing to our machine learning applications as well as your analytical skills through Data Analysis with SQL and Spark on distributed systems
• Teamwork and your personal development matter to us - you will be closely mentored by our experienced team and get extensive coaching
• Depending on your performance you can join us as a permanent employee after your internship

• You are in the final stages of your master studies in a technical or natural science related discipline or have just graduated
• Ideally, you have already used your programming skills (Bash, Python or Java) in software development, and you have first experiences in cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) or Machine Learning
• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics, communicate proactively and are enthusiastic about new technologies
• You have a very good command of English. Knowledge of Portuguese and/ or German language is considered a plus
