Mercer Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position based in Lisbon:
CONSULTING ANALYST - IRELAND PENSIONS MARKET
What can you expect?
- As a consulting analyst, you will work as part of a team supporting consultants in all aspects of pensions consulting and actuarial work on both corporate and trustee clients;
- You will work directly with Ireland-based consultants and support teams in Portugal and Ireland to coordinate and manage the delivery of services to our clients.

- For the initial 6 months its required to work from the office. After that, you can opt for the hybrid working model, which allows you to work from home 2 days per week.
- Help consultants to manage a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis: managing and tracking ongoing actions for clients, drafting correspondence to clients on a range of consulting issues, and supporting in the billing process;
- Liaise with other Mercer business areas to deliver a streamlined service to clients;
- Manage client, member, and providers queries on a day-to-day basis;
- Support in the preparation, attendance and prepare minutes of Trustee meetings;
- Updating various governance documents;
- Prepare communications to members regarding any changes to their plan;
- Be involved in ad-hoc project work as required, for example, risk management deliveries, ETV projects, etc.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills;
- Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to prioritise and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines;
- Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work;
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and sometimes work to tight deadlines;
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client service and satisfaction;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word);
- Good attention to detail is critical;
- Proactive and goal oriented.

- Bachelors or Master’s in Economics, Management, or similar.
- Previous experience in consulting and or pensions matters.
