Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Customs Broker Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manifest tasks, supporting customs processes, ensuring effective operational support, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in international commerce and logistics, with a degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

• Be responsible for performing all Export Manifest tasks in any given Portuguese port.

• Offer solutions to challenges and resolve issues that are critical to improving performance and profitability for both our company and the customer on a day-to-day basis.

• Continuously follow up on all customs clearance and compliance processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Participate in customer visits to promote Customs products when required.

• Communicate and liaise with relevant stakeholders, including Customs Authorities, Maersk offices, and the customers organization, to build strong relationships and ensure mutual benefit.

We are looking for:

• Degree in International Trade or a related field (preferable).

• Proficiency in Microsoft systems.

• At least 2 years of experience in the area of Logistics.

• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, forwarding, and shipping.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ensure high-level communication with key stakeholders and internal team members.

• Collaboration skills and the ability to multi-task at a high level.

• Strong process-oriented approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.

• Resilient team player who is goal-oriented and demonstrates a high level of commitment, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English (B2 or higher is mandatory).
