This position reports into Portugal Accounts Receivable Team Lead and is based at Lisbon, Portugal.

What You Will Do

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for controlling and monitoring of Account Receivables for direct pharmacies portfolio in Portugal, keeping updated status of the Customer Balances, maintaining fluid contact with customers to ensure the collection of the debt and the resolution of possible problems related to this matter (Failed SEPA, bank transfers, etc ...). You will be also responsible for orders release, and special analysis of old items (older than 180 days), and other issues related to Account receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep customer accounts up to date. Analyze customer accounts at the time of payment application for any partial payment or customer errors. Contact customers immediately to resolve any remittance discrepancies.

• Ensuring appropriate reconciliation of the daily bank statement/supporting Share Service Center in Manila

• Interface with Customer Service, Sales teams and senior level management in communicating and resolving issues.

• Special monitoring of customers whose unresolved debts reach an age of more than 180 days

• Daily analysis of the purchase orders that are retained, releasing those that can be released for delivery

• Daily Master Data maintenance for credit management" fields in the MDGC system

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Native level for Portuguese language (written and oral) & good level of English (written and oral)

• At least 1-3 years work experience in Finance (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Customer service experience (ideally in a multinational company)

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Ability to manage priorities, workflow, and communication.

• Accounting software experience (ERP/ SAP system software preferred, CRM and CAT nice to have).

• Strong communication skills on the phone combined with customer and service orientation.

• Independent worker, requiring only occasionally supervision

• Ability to solve difficult situations using own judgment and sense of initiative

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Teamwork skills
