Role Description

We are seeking a Telehealth Physician in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. You do not need to be on-site for this event, but you must be willing and available for phone consultations/recommendations as necessary and be able to prescribe/call in prescriptions to local pharmacies, etc. during the program. Responsibilities include providing medical consultations and assessments as necessary, while adhering to policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements. The dates needed are October 11th to 15th, 2026.

Qualifications

• Medical qualifications: An active and unrestricted medical license in Portugal. Experience in emergency or urgent care is preferred. Proficiency in general medical care, and demonstrated clinical experience with remote patient consultations.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to provide clear and empathetic advice, with fluency in Portuguese and a good command of English.
• Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Flexibility to take calls during varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in telehealth or virtual care services is a strong advantage.
