Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team in a leading global energy and sustainability!

You will integrate our teams in a strategic data-driven project for a leading organization.

This role will focus on designing, evolving and governing scalable data architectures using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business needs, data governance, and best architectural practices.

You will be responsible for

• Design end-to-end data architectures on Azure, supporting analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases;
• Define data models, data flows, and integration patterns across multiple data sources;
• Lead architectural decisions related to data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance;
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions;
• Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and lifecycle management;
• Support the adoption of modern data architectures (e.g. lakehouse, event-driven, streaming).

We are looking for

• Experience in Azure Cloud data environments (GCP or AWS knowledge is also valued);
• Technical expertise of Data & Analytics integration and exploration technologies such as PowerBI or other equivalent tools;
• Knowledge of Software Application development and management, is valued;
• Familiarity with Software Development, DevOps and Cloud best practices, is valued;
• Certification in Software, Cloud or Data Architecture is highly valued;
• Proficiency in English and/or Spanish is a plus.
