About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Azure Fabric and modern data platforms to join us. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative and business-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, improving data performance and reliability, and supporting the implementation of modern data architectures within enterprise environments.

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Develop scalable and optimized data solutions using Azure Fabric and PySpark
• Improve process efficiency, performance tuning, and data reliability across workflows
• Design and maintain dimensional data models (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault)
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and support UAT activities
• Implement CI/CD practices and version control processes using DevOps and Git
• Support integration and standardization of enterprise data sources
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and best engineering practices

Requirements:

• 1–2+ years of experience with the mentioned technologies
• Strong knowledge of Azure Fabric
• Hands-on experience with PySpark
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Good understanding of process optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with dimensional modelling concepts such as Star Schema, Snowflake, and Data Vault
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and Git
• SAP / SAP BW / Datasphere knowledge is considered a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent Portuguese and English
