We build and deploy AI that holds up in production: agents, data platforms, and AI-native products for startups, scaleups, and enterprises across Europe and USA. We run our own Empresa the same way, with agents doing a real share of our internal operations, from research to prospecting to reporting.

Our reputation has grown on delivery, referrals, and founder-led sales. Now we're opening a dedicated commercial practice, and we're looking for the person to build it.

About the role

Companies everywhere are under pressure to turn AI from a series of pilots into an actual operating advantage. Most of them don't need another strategy deck. They need someone who can ship. Twistag is well placed to help, and this role is about making sure the right companies know it.

As our Founding Sales Lead, you'll define and grow Twistag's commercial presence. You'll shape our go-to-market, build lasting relationships with senior stakeholders, and lead the pursuit of engagements that matter: AI Readiness Sprints, fixed-scope builds, and fractional AI teams, running €20k to €250k+. Our best clients stay for years, so the job is opening relationships and growing them — MSAs, preferred-supplier Cargos, account expansion — not chasing one-off deals.

You'll work directly with the CEO on Cargoing, pricing, and strategic pursuits. This is a chance to build a commercial practice inside a Empresa with serious technical depth, and to build it your way.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the full commercial cycle for consultative AI and product engineering engagements, from Primeira conversation to signed SOW to expansion
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite leaders, acting as an advisor on how AI can change how their business operates, not just a seller
  • Shaping compelling pitches and proposals alongside our engineers, who join you in the room whenever a technical voice wins the deal
  • Raising Twistag's profile through a clear point of view: talks, writing, and showing up where our buyers already are
  • Designing the commercial playbook — ICP, qualification, pricing conversations, forecast discipline — documented so future hires ramp on your system
  • Running your pipeline on our agentic sales stack: AI-driven prospecting, enrichment, and outreach, built by the same team that builds these systems for clients

Who we're looking for

  • 8+ years in consultative or technology-delivery sales, with direct revenue accountability
  • You possess a distinct point of view on how companies should adopt AI, and a clear vision of what agentic systems will do to the industries you sell into
  • You bring deep knowledge of how consulting and technology-delivery services are bought and sold, gained inside a consultancy, an agency, or a services firm with direct revenue accountability
  • You have a track record of €500k+ per year in self-sourced services revenue, selling projects and retainers rather than licenses
  • You're commercially driven: energised by growth targets, with a network of CTOs, CPOs, and data/AI leaders you can open in your Primeira 90 days (UK and international buyers especially valuable)
  • You've negotiated MSAs, framework agreements, and enterprise procurement processes, and you have the patience they require
  • You're a compelling communicator who builds trust quickly with senior stakeholders and can explain AI without hand-waving
  • You keep a disciplined pipeline. Your forecast is something the CEO can plan the Empresa around
  • Native-level English; based in, or moving to, Lisbon
