Engineering Specialist (Solar)

Mission

Help the Technical Operations team by developing technical assessments, training, reviews and opinions on engineering designs, materials, equipment, construction and commissioning in solar installations.

What you’ll do

• Work in a multidisciplinary team, with Iberian geographical distribution in Lisbon, Matosinhos and Madrid;
• Develop solar technical documents as manuals or assembling standards, help develop and choose new equipment’s, do technical reviews or issue opinions about engineering standards, designs or documents;
• Manage the answer and the resolution to high complexity client complaints;
• Provide training and training material for colleagues and partners;
• Participate in projects where Technical Operations are a part;
• Help define technical requirements for procurement tenders on the Technical Operations scope;

What you’ll need:

• Master’s in electrical engineering;
• Strong oral and written English communication skills and basic Spanish with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
• Proven experience (+3 years) in solar installations services;
• Ordem dos Engenheiros inscription or conditions to do so.
• Attention to detail, curiosity and creativity with problem solving mindset;
• A great communicator and good at managing external and internal stakeholders;
• Available for frequent travelling within Portugal and very occasional Spain;
• Ability to handle different projects simultaneously and provide deliverables under tight deadlines;
