Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for consumer insights and data engineering? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Marketing Data Solutions Engineer.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in marketing technology and data engineering to unlock the power of consumer data and drive impactful business decisions.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions to obtain, process, and store consumer data, utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies.

By combining your skills in data engineering and consumer insights, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing strategies and enhancing consumer engagement through data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, Deploy, Innovate, and/or Operate the MarTech technology stack within a brand/channel/domain area of scope.
    This includes ensuring the right set of data, technology, and architectural choices for integration, activation/execution, sufficiency, and enrichment to meet the business need most effectively.

  • Utilize data wrangling techniques using tools like Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Power BI, and Python to extract insights from retail/consumer data.

  • Automate and optimize internal ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and analysis applying CI/CD concepts in Azure to deploy our applications.

  • Provide real-time insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve key performance measures, inform new business models, and optimize digital and eCommerce operations.

  • Act as a trusted leader and influencer in the consumer data domain, ensuring alignment between marketing and IT to meet business needs effectively.

  • Leverage strong business acumen to bridge the gap between marketing and technology, translating requirements and ensuring the technology solutions align with business goals.

  • Collaborate effectively with brand teams, multi-functional stakeholders, and external partners to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results that enhance consumer engagement and drive business growth.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology and data engineering, continuously exploring new cloud technologies and their potential applications.

  • Contribute to the knowledge-sharing ecosystem by delivering trainings, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of learning within the local IT community.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications (Required):

  • BS or MS/MBA in an IT related program Business/Management Information Systems, Computer/Systems/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or Statistics) or proven experience in the digital marketing industry with core experiences in the Marketing Technology stack or Marketing data & analytics.

  • Project management foundational education or experience.

  • Agile and DevOps foundational education or experience.

  • Strong business verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong collaborator and thought leader with a growth mindset.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience with using and working with data as a strategic choice for the business to identify use cases to build the business and fill gaps in data, processes, and systems to realize the value.

  • Strong Analytics skills including tools such as KNIME, Python, Power BI, and Tableau.

  • Experience working in any of the digital marketing domain areas (i.e. Direct to Consumer Selling, eCommerce, Consumer Relationship Marketing (CRM), Search (SEM, SEO, Analytics), Web/Mobile Digital Presence & Traffic Generation, Digital Media & Programmatic Media Buying, Social Insights and Analytics, Content Management .

  • Experience with low-code solutions with foundational education or experience.

  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Ads.

  • Certifications related to digital marketing, such as the Online Marketing Certified Associate (OMCA).

  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
