Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for accounting and payroll functions.
- Research and respond to tax inquiries regarding client state payroll.
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- QuickBooks online preferred but not required.
- Computer/technology proficient with high levels of comfort learning and managing new systems/processes.
- Excel is a must with formulas.
- Detail Oriented
- Highly comfortable interacting with multiple and diverse groups of people, good communication and organizational skills.
- Audit banking and quickbooks back to January 2020 to find errors.
· Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and great attention to detail
· Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent interpersonal abilities; expertise in building and maintaining business relationships.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Outlook
· Understanding of special reporting needs and knowledge of the best reports for each client request
OVERVIEW: Assist the Human Resource Department with administrative and human recourse functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process bi-weekly payroll via online system. Conduct all employee data changes into time attendance data base and HR data timely and accurately. Assist new hires with electronic on-boarding and conducts new hire orientations. Conduct candidate pre-employment background checks and send candidates for drug testing. Performing routine administrative duties, such as faxing, filing and answering the telephone. Assists employees with routine questions regarding payroll, time off and benefits. Prepares correspondence as requested by the Director of Human Resources. Maintain employee personnel files. Assists injured workers with work injury process and reports injuries within 24 hours of injury. Attend HR training, seminars and conferences. Multi State Taxes and Filings Prospect Calling to set up appointments Creating marketing material
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
