Position Overview

We are building a new Finance Excellence Center in Lisbon (Portugal) to support our recent acquired (SaaS) companies and future acquisitions. The Excellence Center in Lisbon will support HR, Finance and other functions. The company is currently implementing a new ERP tool (NetSuite) and reviewing the current processes to improve and automate our Finance operations.

We are seeking a Finance System Data Analyst to join our team to support the new ERP System as well the linkage with that ERP System and other (heavy data generating) systems, like Billing and Cash tools. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and data integration experience, ideally in an environment where the ERP System integrates with backend systems in an International Finance Organisation, Excellence Center or Shared Service Center setup. The ideal candidate has the experience to be able to work hands-on, contribute to the setup of new Center as well is highly motivated to contribute to Continues Process Improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key contributor in the implementation of the new ERP System including the transition of existing businesses and the on-boarding of future acquisitions as required.

• Data analysis and management of the finance system, with responsibilities including
  • Maintenance of existing feeds from integrating systems to the Finance ERP, including, billing and payroll systems
  • Data analysis, investigation and changes to existing data feeds / transformations to debug issues and/or implement enhancements
  • Data analysis and investigation of data feeds for new acquisitions, in order to understand the effort and timelines required to integrate these new systems
  • Data mapping, cleansing and transformation of data feeds for new acquisitions
  • One off data migration and setup of financial data for new acquisitions (incl. migration of opening balances, supplier data and other core financial information)
  • Administration and ownership of the data integration layer (using iPaaS software such as Workato), including configuration, enhancement and ongoing maintenance
  • capturing and managing a central backlog of ongoing data requirements and enhancements
  • co-ordination with external technical development teams responsible for integrating systems, to agree data feed requirements, interfacing contracts, interfacing method (API …etc) and testing and release of new features and bug fixes
  • plan and execute testing of ongoing enhancements to data integration feeds and the data integration layer
  • advise the business on practical ways to use of the solution to meet business needs

• Provide first line support to the Excellent Center members that are using our newly rolled out ERP System and connection with several Billing Platform and Data Warehouses, including trouble shooting user issues, resolving system errors, escalating complex issues to stakeholders and work with internal and external experts on this.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather requirements, resolves issue and improve the functionality of the systems., including the creation and updating of the overall Finance Systems Roadmap.

• Develop and maintain system documentation.

• Assist with special projects and process improvement projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Must haves:

• Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or Data Science
• Min. 5 year hands on experience in implementing and maintaining data integration solutions in IT/Finance environment, using a leading data integration iPaaS solution (Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Jiterbit)
• Relevant experience and track record in an international Finance environment / Share Service Center setup.
• Excellent communication skills for both Business and Technical subjects
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• 3-5 years implementation & operational experience in a complex global context, ideally using a leading data integration / iPaaS solution (Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi)

Desired:

• Qualification in Business Process Improvements such as Lean Six Sigma etc.
• Fluent in at least one other European Language
